Dana Benedict is a multi-disciplinary performer and musician. She first studied dance at a young age, going on to star in a National Broadway touring production at the age of 12. Branching from these theatre roots, Dana studied non-traditional performance techniques around the world; a pursuit which developed her signature blend of folk, Gothic, and vaudeville influences. Inspired by Tori Amos, Kate Bush, and Thom Yorke. Dana continues to combine music, dance, and acting in a variety of unexpected ways, from clowning to immersive theatre to burlesque. Dana’s musical writings have been featured in theatrical performances and placed in films.
Dana Benedict is currently producing her own theatrical show titled ALCHEMY & POETRY. A musical mystical journey through ethereal realms of whimsy and folklore and personal tales. All original music written and performed by Dana Benedict, backed by a full band and features dancers and aerial art.
